What is Klarna?
Klarna is an alternate payment method that allows you to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments for orders between $10 - $2,500 USD. To use Klarna to pay for your purchase, choose Klarna in the checkout. Your purchase will be split into 4 interest-free payments. The first payment will be taken from your credit or debit card when your order is placed. The remaining three payments will be automatically charged to your card 14, 28, and 42 days later.
Is there a fee to use Klarna's 4 interest-free payments?
There are no fees when you follow the payment schedule. Please review Klarna Terms and Conditions for applicable fees.
How do I sign up?
If your order is eligible (orders between $10 - $2,500 USD) for 4 interest-free payments with Klarna, you will be able to select Klarna as a payment method during checkout. Once your order is placed, you will be charged for the first quarter of the total amount. Klarna will send a notification once the payment has been processed. You will be informed ahead of time before the next payments.
What are the conditions to sign up?
To sign up, you will need:
- A US-issued debit or credit card
- To be 18 years of age or over
- An SMS-capable phone number
- A US billing address
How to checkout with Klarna
- Add item(s) to your cart.
- Select Klarna as your payment method at Step 3 of checkout.
- On step 4 of checkout, confirm your order information and click "Pay with Klarna".
- You will be redirected to Klarna payment portal. Review your order total and enter your card information. Click "Confirm and continue" to confirm your order.
- You will be redirected back to Proenza Schouler's Checkout Success page where you can find your Proenza Schouler Order Number.
- You will receive an Order Confirmation email from both Proenza Schouler and Klarna.
- To manage your Klarna payments, log into your account at Klarna.com or on the Klarna App.
What are 'Additional Costs' and "Correction" on my Klarna order summary?
Taxes, Shipping, and Promo Code discounts are not shown as separate lines in the Klarna order summary. The net value of these three line items is listed as "Additional Costs" for amounts greater than zero, and "Correction" for amounts less than zero.
How do I make payments?
Payments are collected every other week from the debit or credit card you provide at the time of purchase. All scheduled payments are communicated to you by email and you can review your latest purchases and pay any open balances by logging into your Klarna account at https://app.klarna.com/login. You can also chat with Klarna Customer Service 24/7 in the Klarna App.

Which payment methods are accepted?
Klarna currently accepts most debit and credit cards (i.e., Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Discover). Please note, prepaid cards are not accepted.
Will this affect my credit score?
When you choose 4 interest-free payments, Klarna may perform a soft credit check. This type of check will not impact your credit score or show up as a hard inquiry on your credit report.
Will I still be charged if my order is cancelled?
Proenza Schouler does not allow customers to cancel orders once they have been successfully submitted. If your order has been cancelled by Proenza Schouler, Klarna will update your payments accordingly and you can check the status of your payments anytime via Klarna’s site or in your Klarna app. Refund processing times vary and can take up to 14 days depending on your financial institution. To check the status of your refund, please confirm first we have updated your payments accordingly and check if you might have already been refunded to your original payment method. If 14 days have passed since the issue of credit and you are still missing your refund, please contact Klarna for further support.

Can I pay before the due date?
Yes. If you want to pay the outstanding balance of your purchase early, simply log in at the top of the page, go to the order page, and select “Pay off early”.
What if I return or cancel my order?
Returns and Cancellations are subject to Proenza Schouler's Returns Policy, so please see here for instructions on how to make a return or cancellation. If Proenza Schouler issues a refund, Klarna will issue you with a new statement. Simply follow Proenza Schouler's Return Policy and make sure to take note of the return tracking number. Log into your Klarna account, select “report a return”, and we’ll pause your statement. As soon as the Proenza Schouler has processed your return, we will send an adjusted invoice. You can check the status of your payments and refunds anytime in your Klarna app. If you have any questions regarding the status of a return or refund eligibility, please contact Proenza Schouler Customer Care directly.
What happens to my statement when I've returned the goods?
Once we have received the return (partial or full) and you have received their confirmation of this, an updated statement with an adjusted payment schedule will be sent to you by Klarna if you’ve made a partial return. With a full return, we shall refund any payments collected and cancel any future scheduled payments. You are always able to monitor the status of your order in the Klarna app.
What happens if I don’t pay for my order?
Klarna will automatically attempt to collect payment for your payments purchase from the card that you entered at Klarna checkout. You can find out when your payments will be collected in the email that you received at the time of purchase or by logging into your Klarna account.
If the automatic payment fails, Klarna will try again after 7 days. If this payment also fails, Klarna will make another attempt after a further 7 days (14 days after the date of the first attempt). Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna’s payments product even if you have failed to pay on time.
