What is Klarna?

Klarna is a Swedish payment service provider that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment. Klarna is the provider of Smoooth payments to more than 100,000 online stores. Over 60 million consumers worldwide have trusted Klarna to securely handle their payments.

How does Pay in 14 days work?

Once your order's confirmed, you'll receive an email with payment instructions within two days from Klarna. You'll then have 14 days to try on your order before you pay. Complete the payment online, at your convenience, with no extra cost. You can pay via credit or debit card at https://www.klarna.com/at.

Am I eligible for Pay in 14 days?

To use Pay later you must be at least 18. Whilst this option is widely promoted, Pay later is subject to your financial circumstances. When choosing Pay later, our assessment will not affect your credit rating.

Klarna is unique and offers Pay later based on a number of factors such as the order value, previous order history and item availability. If you are 18 or over, you can improve your chances of being offered Pay later by ensuring you provide your full name and accurate address details and shipping to your registered billing address. All orders are assessed individually. Just because you have had Pay later before does not mean it will be offered for every order and in turn, as it is denied does not mean it will be denied for all future orders. Alternatively, you are able to complete your order by paying by credit or debit card at the checkout.

How do I sign up?

If your order is eligible for Pay in 14 days with Klarna, you will be able to select Klarna as a payment method during checkout. 

How to checkout with Klarna

  • Add item(s) to your cart.
  • Select Klarna as your payment method at Step 3 of checkout.
  • On step 4 of checkout, confirm your order information and click "Pay with Klarna".
  • You will be redirected to Klarna payment portal. Review your order total and enter your card information. Click "Confirm and continue" to confirm your order. 
  • You will be redirected back to Proenza Schouler's Checkout Success page where you can find your Proenza Schouler Order Number.
  • You will receive an Order Confirmation email from both Proenza Schouler and Klarna.
  • To manage your Klarna payments, log into your account at Klarna.com or on the Klarna App. 

What are 'Additional Costs' and "Correction" on my Klarna order summary?

Taxes, Shipping, and Promo Code discounts are not shown as separate lines in the Klarna order summary. The net value of these three line items is listed as "Additional Costs" for amounts greater than zero, and "Correction" for amounts less than zero. 

How do I make payments?

You can pay for your order at any point after you receive the email from Klarna with the details of your payment. Just follow the instructions on this email to pay for your order.

You can review your latest purchases and pay any open balances by logging into your Klarna account at ​https://app.klarna.com/login​. You can also chat with Klarna Customer Service 24/7 in the ​Klarna App​.

Has Klarna received my payment ?

Which payment methods are accepted?

Klarna currently accepts most debit and credit cards (i.e., Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Discover). Please note, prepaid cards are not accepted.

Will I still be charged if my order is cancelled?

Proenza Schouler does not allow customers to cancel orders once they have been successfully submitted. If your order has been cancelled by Proenza Schouler, Klarna will update your payments accordingly and you can check the status of your payments anytime via Klarna’s site or in your Klarna app. Refund processing times vary and can take up to 14 days depending on your financial institution. To check the status of your refund, please confirm first we have updated your payments accordingly and check if you might have already been refunded to your original payment method. If 14 days have passed since the issue of credit and you are still missing your refund, please contact Klarna for further support.

Can I pay before the due date?

Yes. If you want to pay the outstanding balance of your purchase early, simply log in at the top of the page, go to the order page, and select “Pay off early”.

I've received a statement, but I've not yet received my goods.

You have 14 days to pay, so you don’t need to pay right away. If your due date is near and there is no sign of your goods, please call Proenza Schouler to check on delivery. You can also contact Klarna’s Customer Service so that they can postpone the due date on your payment.

What if I return or cancel my order?

Returns and Cancellations are subject to Proenza Schouler's Returns Policy, so please see here for instructions on how to make a return or cancellation. If Proenza Schouler issues a refund, Klarna will issue you with a new statement. Simply follow Proenza Schouler's Return Policy and make sure to take note of the return tracking number. Log into your Klarna account, select “report a return”, and we’ll pause your statement. As soon as the Proenza Schouler has processed your return, we will send an adjusted invoice. You can check the status of your payments and refunds anytime in your Klarna app. If you have any questions regarding the status of a return or refund eligibility, please contact Proenza Schouler Customer Care directly.

What happens to my statement when I've returned the goods?

Once we have received the return (partial or full) and you have received their confirmation of this, an updated statement with an adjusted payment schedule will be sent to you by Klarna if you’ve made a partial return. With a full return, we shall refund any payments collected. You are always able to monitor the status of your order in the Klarna app.

What happens if I don’t pay for my order?

Payment is due 14 days after the item is shipped. To help you pay on time, we'll alert you two days before payment is due – you'll receive email reminders to pay – and, if very late, we’ll also send you a text or letter, too. If you fail to pay Klarna for your order, your credit score will be affected.
